MEET THERESA: Theresa Cooney is passionate about helping others achieve their dreams, whether through her years of nonprofit leadership or now as a Loan Officer at Arch Mortgage North. Happily married to her husband Brian, Theresa proudly shares they were the first couple married in the iconic Shell in Charlevoix, a community they fell in love with long before calling it home.
With an undergraduate degree in Communications and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, Theresa brings a strong background in advocacy and client support. After three years as part-time residents, she and Brian made Northern Michigan their permanent home, drawn by its beauty, welcoming people, and vibrant local life.
Theresa’s nature as a helper shines through in everything she does. She’s dedicated to guiding clients through the mortgage process with care and expertise, ensuring they find the right loan program to make homeownership a reality.
