We’ve worked at the big guns and were ready for something different. We wanted to provide an experience that was more than just an endless stack of paperwork, and months of bad communication. We knew that in order to really give our clients a personal and dynamic experience, to keep them coming back to us for years to come, we had to be small, nimble, and better than everyone else at the table.
Arch Mortgage was founded by a small group experienced Loan Officers in Northville, Michigan who wanted to bring their 20+ years experience to a more personal, swift and enjoyable mortgage process for customers. In 2020, this ethos and service was brought to Northern Michigan, and Arch Mortgage North was born. The company continues to grow, but at a managed pace to ensure that we never lose sight of the customer or the level of service we promise to provide.

MEET JEREMY: I have been a Loan Officer since 2011 and made the move north to Traverse City in 2018 after feeling the pull of the water and outdoor space for my growing family. A Fenton, Michigan native, I have a special connection to this beautiful state and love the chance to bring other Michigan fans to homeownership in our incredible area.
My ultimate goal - to ensure that you have a partner and advocate in the Mortgage process. I live and work in the communities we serve, and I believe in creating an experience for my customers that is enjoyable, valuable and memorable - not to mention, specific to your goals. Every mortgage process is unique, but I will guide you towards a successful and efficient end.

MEET CHARITY: Charity exudes an unparalleled enthusiasm for Northern Michigan that never abates, even when the weather gets colder! After over two decades working in lending and title locally, Charity has built her career upon a foundation of trust, driven by a strong passion to help people in her community make their financial goals become a reality. Her reach extends even further due to her involvement with our local Aspire North Board of Realtors, also volunteering on their Ambassador Committee and assisting with the tour committee for the local Women’s Council of Realtors.
Charity knows her greatest asset is her family, which includes three adult children, their two amazing spouses, and two beautiful young granddaughters. In her free time, Charity can be found creating precious lifelong memories with them here in the Northern Michigan community she so adores!

MEET TROY: Troy believes in getting to know his clients on a personal level that goes much deeper than just their financial circumstances. Troy cut his teeth in the mortgage industry at a very young age, working in origination and secondary sectors, and fully absorbing all nuances of the business from his loan officer colleagues.
After graduating with a major in finance from Alma college, Troy returned home to Northern Michigan to open his own Amerifirst branch, vowing to fulfill every client’s lending needs with an emphasis on providing sound guidance and the highest level of customer service along the way. There, he honed his commitment to provide excellent communication throughout the process, that all documents contained the utmost accuracy, and ensuring closings were on time. Adhering to these philosophies quickly made Troy an industry leader in Traverse City, with a reputation for caring about clients on a rarefied level.
As an active real estate investor with more than 25 years in Northern Michigan, Troy truly understands our area and is passionate about his community. When he isn’t helping a client achieve their goals, Troy can typically be found outdoors; often coaching local sports teams, fishing, or golfing in the community he holds so dear.

A true Michigan native, Ryan was raised in southern Michigan and after graduating from CMU, Ryan and his growing family chose our northern Michigan community to be their forever home.
Ryan is a dedicated husband and proud father to two beautiful daughters. A true family man, Ryan is committed to being the best role model he can be for them. When he isn’t in the office working to make his client’s homeownership dreams a reality, he and the South family are always on the go, enjoying nature together, camping, boating, or any of the countless sport activities that Northern Michigan has to offer.

MEET NICKI: Nicki Klama is a born puzzle-solver. Originally from the southeast side of Michigan, Nicki experimented with living all over our great state before relocating permanently to northern Michigan in 2003. Nearly a decade ago, she was offered an unexpected position working in mortgages, where she quickly realized that no two mortgages are ever the same. It was at that moment that she knew she’d found more than just a job; she’d found a way to make solving the vital puzzle of homeownership for her clients into her full-time career.
Prior to working in lending, Nicki spent many years in title insurance and real estate administration, giving her a unique set of advanced skills and expertise that has earned her the nickname, “Mortgage Loan Processing Unicorn.” Her attention to detail, and passion for helping her clients realize their dreams of homeownership makes her a natural fit here at Arch Mortgage North.
In her free time, Nicki can be found either mentoring the first Robotics Team at Greenspire High School, doting on her beloved tuxedo cats, or enjoying everything the great outdoors has to offer alongside her husband and son; putting together the puzzle pieces for a life well-lived.

MEET KALIE: Kalie Bloom believes that following a strong moral compass is the key to success in her life and career. A recent transplant from Nebraska, Kalie is excited to hit the ground running, putting her vast skills to use helping others realize their dreams of homeownership right here in Northern Michigan. Kalie understands that the mortgage process can feel daunting and confusing. This drives her daily to put her clients first, allowing them to feel seen and heard, and ultimately assuring that they understand every nuance of the process they are embarking upon.
Before her career in mortgage processing, Kalie excelled in bookkeeping, finance, and education; skills she now puts to use in all aspects of her mortgage profession. This expertise, coupled with her highly organized attention to detail and unwavering moral compass led her to join the ranks of Arch Mortgage North.
Kalie relishes a fast-paced environment, both inside and outside of working hours, which is why, in her free time, Kalie can be found participating in everything from boating to snowboarding and playing in various bowling and volleyball leagues. In her quieter moments, Kalie enjoys exercise, meal-prepping, reading, or simply spending time with her boyfriend and their two beloved dogs their new home of Northern Michigan.
